Anderson Shelter in Rugby

This shelter is behind a Victorian terraced house in Rugby . It appears to be in its original location, because it has a concrete base about 3 feet below ground level. Rather like some other shelters - such as the one near the Oval - the shelter has probably survived because post-war house owners will have found it difficult to remove the concrete. These days, of course, such shelters add contours and real historical interest to their gardens.
